I have a few questions I don't really understand so I was hoping some of you could answer and teach me.

1. How do you guys do the path/stroke/text thingy? E.g at kevin's sig made by Meta etc.

1:) i dunno i use photoshop
2:) .png is the best save cause it can save it with less worry for data loss.
3:) Practise practise and more practise
I'd only use gimp for Mods if u want photoshop just u one of the
portables. just google it (photoshop portable download)
Or u can do what i did and pay $300+ for non portable one.

Lmao. I originally wanted to use PS. When I logged into the website and found out that it costs money, I turned to GIMP for help instead.

Sure! I could use some more beginner tutorials on Vector. I seen some on gimptalk but it is for advanced and skilled GFX'ers.

Well...uhm....

The first question is almost like making a path using a stroke path in the middle of the sig( not border). The problem is I forgot how to make the path. I did it once and I totally forgot about it.

Well the second question is obvious I think...

Third question is a vector sig according to Meta. I never tried that style before and I am eager to learn it. I could use some tut sites but the only site I know is gimptalk now

click two times outside of the sig border to make a line that follows the flow (meta did a horrible job honestly)

then click on"stroke path"

format is png and for vector look for tuts on gimptalk. better make an account there and be active

Isn't that for making the border?

Choose Color -> Paths -> Made a Path -> Stroke Path -> Done?
