It may have originally been called football but in North America, especially where I live it's soccer and that's not a wrong term. They are equivalent just as saying 1+1=2 Although football does make more sense neither one is wrong and there's not really any reason to attempt to correct someone on it.

Soccer just sounds so childish. Even if it is still a correct term.

The term Soccer predates the formation of FIFA and doesn't even originate from the US, in fact as far as I remember the game is so old the original name was not even foot ball, so there should be no debate or difference as to soccer vs football as they are both just modern day adoptions ^^

i used to sprint and run a lot and i have won some races in my class and has some medals

i also used to practise a martial art since i was a kid

so yeah i used to do both and i said both of it in a funny way
