they are testing out if people will join if there is going to be a f2p world, also your account will remain it's stats after the 2 weeks if you decide to buy member again or if they keep the f2p worlds.

Somehow true, they want the succesfull game back they used to have.
BUT this time every update is community voted, having a great succes so far.
