It's just someone messing with you. Even when you've already used the balance of PSN cards when you enter the code it will still say how much the card was worth.

So it will say $50, but you won't be able to redeem it because obviously the code was already used and they just wanted to waste your time lmao.

I googled it and its cause it was a card that was never scanned at the register, someone must've scratched it from the back and write the code down and walk away and spam the code to random people
