Faith is simply ignorance in the guise of virtue. You don't need to understand science to understand the improbability of the existence of a god.

Simply because you can't fathom or understand the processes in their entirety, doesn't mean a god created them. Even if you can, there is no reason to assign a "god" as to why these processes exist. This is known as god of the gaps, as stated previously. It is a fallacious mindset.
