Knowing a small amount of physics and human anatomy goes a long way in toribash, having a pre-made starting move set is also very wise. Starting move sets vary depending on which mod you play more, different mods have different starting moves you will want to set up. You could also try to freestyle every fight(something I do a lot), but it's not recommended for beginners since to succeed playing as a freestyle user you would have to pretty much know how every part of your characters body. I've been around since 2008 and used to hold rank one in a couple mods so I can pull it off. They have lots of tutorials on youtube with pre-made basic(or complex) opening moves, that being said you can basically plan fake attack and set up bone crushing counters, which happen often. Grabbing is also a very important thing to use and fight against.When someone grabs you, you must know how to control the force of the players weight since he may try to take you to the floor, which in some mods can disqualify a player who's knees, elbows or any other parts of your body. In those mods only your feet and hands may touch the floor, you will rarely see a mod that allows your head touch the floor and in those mods the skilled players love to break-dance or perform many athletic flips. Well if you want to know anything feel free to ask.
Damn, that sounds really difficult. How would you control it? Like what buttons would you need to be pressing to perform tricks like that? ^

Kows drill is every 12 seconds, Fire atk is every 38 seconds ( basically 3 drills.)


Ross does not rly count the seconds, as he just does it by reflex. Sometimes he counts it tho based off combos 10 perfect combos (for Ross with DH) is around the time for a drill, if there are mistakes Ross takes off the amount of combos he sees fit, for example if there is a mistake Ross just does 8 combos. Fire atk is every 38 seconds, which is the time just after 3 drills, which is simple enough to count the drills. There is another timed one which is extend arm (not counter), but you don't have to worry about it if your up on a higher level. ::)


But rly Ross does not go... 1 second... 2.. in his head, Ross can easily tell without counting what the time it is in the map, what Kows timer is set to etc.



As for Kows counter which is every 6 hits you do on it, Kow's counter is slow so if you do 2 hits, break combo, then start doing 3 hit combos, you will be able to hit him before he can hit you with his counter. You don't have to worry about it if your on a higher lv tho. (Depends on how high you are compared to Kow tho.)


2 hits, break combo, 3 hits, break combo = 5 hits

6th hit activates counter, but your 2nd hit into your combo stop it before Kow can hit you.
Ah. That's similar how I do it. I guess it's become like a second nature to you by now. =P

I'd love to, but 1p raids are a big appeal to hackers. If I did, I would have to not make them very reward-heavy, and if I did that, what's the point.

Make the 1p raids for level 221/225's or w/e. Most hackers are nubs that are level 126 or so. Also, didn't the old 1p and 8p raids work fine? Like whenever someone completes a raid, their name pops up.
The problem with the names popping up is it's annoying. On sundays when there were like 3-4 rooms grinding 8p at the same time my chat was going crazy. =/
