xD

Let it die on it's own, no need to lock it. D:

No... BC and AD are being phased out world wide, not just by non-Christians...

I never said anything about Jesus not living, not sure why you brought that up.

I never said Christmas was restricted to Christians either. You said "Why is Christmas, Christmas?" and I told you it was called Christmas because it's a Christian holiday. Just because it's celebrated by non-Christians as well doesnt mean it didnt start out as Christian holiday.
Why do you keep locking this? If you dont want to continue, that's fine but it doesn't justify a lock.
It's not being phased out worldwide.
The whole question was for someone else and didn't make sense when you answered it.
Gah.

Yes... it is. It's becoming more common and is replacing B.C and AD in newer text books. Historians are starting to use B.C.E and C.E more because they're the "politically correct" terms. I'm assuming it'll be more widely used in the East sooner than in the West though.

If I have never heard of this, it didn't happen.
It's still BC and AD as far as I know.

You're not the truth, just because you didn't hear about it.
It hard to change a term used for over 100 years.
It still is B.C. and A.D.

Allie

I didn't hear about it, so it's still BC and AD, and it won't change for a long time.
Gl argueing with me, I even win arguements as small and stupid as these.
>;o

GavinGill

Like I said, it's now the "politically correct" term. Obviously there wont be an overnight change but it is starting to gradually replace B.C and A.D. If it's any consolation, it's expected that it'll take a century for BC and AD to be phased out completely.

You can argue all you want but trufax are trufax.

I don't argue.
I state.
I state that that will never happen.

Xrow

You never heard of it? Wow.
Allie, it will begin to change but it won't change for a long time.
B.C. and A.D is still the term we use. It will take way longer than a century.

Xrow

I actually have heard it. Just not lucratively.
And I doubt it'll change.
