The first is the best, for me. Just looks more natural and refined. I don't like thw hazy misty bits underneath, however.
+Don't get too heavy on the gradient maps! 20-40% opacity! Maybe more in some cases.

You got a style like no other. It's refreshing to see new work. Carry on doin' what you do.
