Am i the only one that gets random fanmail from users i don't know?

When i get a gift or messages. I rarely check my boxes in game..  think others too and when we get a message  or gift i think there needs to be a alarm or little icon saying how many messages there are

+1, I don't like to spend 10 seconds per day to check if I have any mail or gifts, mainly because I haven't received a new in-game message in a while. This idea would be handy.

Lol don't use my reasoning to decide whether a suggestion is good or not unless I made the topic.

Also, I never check it because I haven't gotten anything in a while, so this would be handy because it would tell me if I had something. I'd get more and more discouraged every day by seeing nothing, so eventually I'd stop checking my stuff anyway. Btw I'd lose 5 minutes of my life per month by checking it every day to see nothing. Kind of a stupid point, but it's still a statistic to take note of.

10 seconds out of your day to bother checking the mail box is not a big deal.

because the time needed to make it could be used for something more useful, also i agree with tricky its not worth implementing since it takes 10 seconds to just check it yourself

Yeah, it's still simple without it, but it'd be nice to have it.  Implementing this wouldn't be very hard for the zylon staff.  They've added new modes, I don't think one message will take that long.

1, who uses the mail system anyways? Won't they use the lobby/whisper chat instead? And for Gifts, you would know you'd be getting a gift, yes? I don't think I've seen people give random items to people without them knowing about it.
