Buying parts from the shop that give 40% exp bonus would completely defeat the purpose of having tier 3.

It is what makes Tier armor "Tier," and one of the quality's that separates them from other sets. So basically not unique as in how many of a specific set is compared to others, but unique in the bonuses it offers, giving a reason why you want that set over another even at the cost of losing out in stats. Good luck paying someone for 219 or w/e t3.
