I only played Generation 4 because my friends played it too. It really shows how Nintendo is just milking Pokemon to no end.

I think Game Freak is overdoing it with all the new Pokemon games. From an in-game standpoint, Pokemon became pretty stale after Generation 3. Each game has a really similar story and follows the same formula.

gen 5 is different omg

idk whats so special about 3 tbh. the pokemon are good but really arent that great (inb4 mudkipz), the story was meh, and the male trainer sprite looked like a gay (gen 4 gets prize for worst though omfg he looks retarded).

ya but the problem with using rare candies is after using 5 consecutively your pokemons stats would still keep going up but not as much as it normally would

only a pokemonmaster_ knows that


thats why i used 4 rare candies then leveld my pokemon manually then repeat to 100

Bad troll or an idiot. I could give my Pokemon no EVs until 99 and then max out its EVs (ie 252 in a particular stat, which increases said stat by 63). Yeah, I know what I'm talking about because I've played competitive Pokemon. I also play in the Battle Frontier on Emerald and hold a WR.

The max amount of EVs total is 510. Every 4 EVs increases a particular stat by 1 point.

99% of Pokemon players don't know what they're talking about.

Depends on Generation and whether there are ban lists or not.

EV's and IV's have nothing to do with EXP. They're just dependent on the type of pokemon you battle. If all you do is use rare candies to level your pokemon up, you'll have limited EV & IV experience for that particular pokemon.


Idk what you're really aiming at in particular, but how can one possibly max out wanted EV and IV's in just 1 level (from 99-100)

just to point something out.. IVs arent 'earned' or anything.. each pokemon u get has randomly generated IVs in each stat and they cant be changed. only EVs can be altered.
