In addition to these raid maps, I am tweaking the gearing scale. While it will be the same challenge to get to Elektra+7/T3, getting gear above Elektra will require running the three raids - Hackenn Ruins (221), X (235), X (250) (hidden for spoiler).

235 set is also member only so its not only 1 set.

Why such a big leap? Going from 172 to 255 is huge. from 221 to 270 is huge as well.

It's 172 to 225, thats 53 levels. 221 to 270 is 49 levels. It's a bit huge, yes, but that just means opening the availability of even more content, and giving players something to strive for again.

It'll be the exact same, essentially. With the sector update proposed, 276 (Zeon's Requiem) is planned to give about half the xp as 8p currently does.

What about 172? They will become 250 or?

172 non-members will go up just the same as members. As the new cap is currently 172, all non-members will go up to a cap of 225, found out the same way 270 is. That means all non-members will have the option of playing all current content and obtaining survival T3/elektra+7 just the same as members, putting them on par in pvp. However, they only have access to the first tier of raiding, which is significantly stronger than T3/elektra+7 anyway, but is not nearly as powerful as higher sets.

concern over reaching max level

Fortunately (or unfortunately, perhaps), we have thought of this! To enjoy all the content in the game, you really only have to reach level 250. Reaching 270 is for time and bragging rights as of this patch. There is no content designed after 250, which gives 27 people (I'm expecting this to increase fast) the (theoretical) immediate ability to enjoy all the new content.

You already have enough of a stat increase with the creation of armors above tier 3 and elek +7. So what do you need it for? What's so fun about 1 hitting everything? Reminds me of hacking >_>
