If the vote was something in-game where when you login you get to vote for either sector or base and you only get 1 vote, sector would win 90% to 10% at least. I don't think its really fair to do a forum vote. Theres like.. idk.. 50? people who care about base.. and hundreds who care about sector. But like all the base people use the forum so they are balancing the vote when in reality the player base would strongly prefer the sector update, its just not many of them use the forum (probably because they are busy playing sector whereas the base fans have free time while they sit in an empty room waiting for someone to join).
There should at least be a link, a button, an ad, or something in-game to tell players about this vote. Its really not fair. Base is probably going to win even though 90% of the player base doesn't agree with it. That's not a community poll, that's a tragedy. My advice is to make the decision yourself or have some sort of in-game vote (or at least a way to tell players in-game about the vote). This forum vote thing is really silly and doesn't accurately reflect the communities opinion.
