I never left just lost interest in the game was all.  I'll be back hosting events for sure.  I'm finally getting around to making a proper staff team again for the game.  I'll be making a discord server to invite everyone to from there I'll pick staff.

I had to change server providers recently.  Looks like your client updater is being blocked by either your antivirus or firewall.  You can try to download the patch.ini file manually here: https://updates.zylongaming.com/boutcheetah/patch.ini and overwrite the existing file in the client C:/Zylon Gaming/BoutCheetah

Should be fixed now.  Was a bug after switching servers last week.  Thanks for reporting.

The main reason it is "illegal" in a sense is you could sell the account then claim it was hacked and get us to recover it, in theory its a scam that many people have done in the past.  The only person that loses is the person that buys it.

No.  The only operating system that can launch boutcheetah is windows.

A few changes have been made to the current staffing.  All inactive staff have been moved into the category of "Former Staff".  If you were once a staff member and would like to be added to that group, simply send me a PM.

The dedicated server which hosted Zylon Gaming had a drive fail in raid 1 mode.  Due to the hardware being very outdated on the old server, a decision was made to decommission and move to a brand new server.  No data was lost.  However, if you run into any new issues caused by this server change, please post them here so I can check it out.  If your client has failed to update and you are unable to play, Download the latest Setup to reinstall the game.

I'm here still. I just don't like talking to anyone anymore (socially awkward).  I do my best to make sure the game stays online, I have been doing some work on the website believe it or not, as the website was having ssl certificate issues mid-last month.  The only other person from bots-era i talk to occasionally is Matt aka redshadow (he graduated college a few years ago and moved away from Texas to Florida and got a job in the IT software reverse engineer field).  If any of you still wanna talk, lemme know in PMs.  Boutcheetah and bots will probably remain online forever even if not many people play or noone plays, just for the nostalgia. It's almost self-maintaining atm.  I would like it to grow again but even if updates were released it would not liven up the game any as everyone has grown up and no longer likes to grind like before most likely.  If enough people want events back, I will work on adding that again.  Other than that the game is kinda in a acclaim status (no updates) without all of the server crashes from us.

Hello, you could try to re-install the client from the downloads page, it should be the latest version.  I would suggest adding boutcheetah's folder to your antivirus's exception list as sometimes false positives happen with the game.
