I also hear from others (silver/gold div) that they say Thresh is the better support to have mainly for the crazy possible ganks with flash/lantern/hook.

silver is really, really low and terrible shit elo. gold is fairly low too, so dont get ur advice from them

oh i didnt even read that part, but yeah yz is right. taking advice from bronze/silver/gold is a lot different from platinum and advice from platinum is a lot different from diamond.

just like how some champions are stronger in lower elo than in higher elo (blitzcrank)

Got to admit it's getting pretty easy now as a low level now i understand the builds of my champs i'm using who they can/cannot take on, which lane to run. Once you got that sorted it's like riding a bike against new people.

If i was to make a new account could i put it on NA server or would i still have to pay to change servers even though it's a whole new account?

It's free if you make a completely new account on the NA server.
It only costs money if you transfer over an account that's in one server to another.
